Studio with fantastic sea views across Nazare beach and bay

This studio apartment comes fully equipped including a kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine, lounge & dining area, king sized bed and large shower room- perfect for the kids or the adults to escape to. It has a large skyslight window with great sea views.

Using a studio like this one is a great alternative to a hotel in Nazare. You'll get 4 times the space, better quality for your money, sea views guaranteed and a lot more freedom. It's a spacious atttic studio with a large skylight over the lounge area with wonderful sea views making it light and airy. It also has ample dining space with a dining table and 4 chairs located near the very well equipped kitchen. The apartment further benefits from a hydro-massaging shower unit.


It has a lounge area with 2 chairs and a sofa bed which can sleep a further 2 people. It also has a cot and all the bedding you need for your child. Plus a flat screen TV, CD player, DVD and around 30 DVD's for lazy nights in. That's if you want to stay in when Nazare has so much to offer - good food, great wine and bars for later.

Allowing for the beach views, the apartment has an elevated position yet just a 10 minute walk away from the beach, a 15 minute walk back as on an incline. The apartment also benefits from being 10 minutes walk from the beautiful historic town Sitio which is perched on the cliff top overlooking Nazare. Enjoy stunning views along the coasts from Sitio and catch the funicular to the heart of Nazare from there too.

Getting There

Lisbon Airport is recommended as it is an easy drive along the A8 taking between 50 mins to 1 hour depending on traffic.

If you don't want to hire a car then you can take a taxi from Lisbon airport to Lisbon bus station (15 Euros) and then get a coach.

Alternatively you can fly to Oporto (2 and a half hour drive) or Faro (3.5 hour drive).

The excellent website, www.seat61.com, gives a choice of routes from the UK to Portugal.
For Lisbon, you can take the 10.23am Eurostar from London to Paris and the 15.50 TGV service to Irún on the Spanish border, which connects with the 22.00 overnight Sud Express to Lisbon, which arrives at 11.03am the following day. Cheapest return fare is £209. Book through Spanish Rail (020 7725 7063, www.spanish-rail.co.uk ) or Rail Europe (0844 848 4070, www.raileurope.co.uk).
