Easy walk or drive to centre of Alvor and beaches, CLOSE TO ALTO and PENINA GOLF, shops and good choice of restaurants nearby(2mins walk). Extensive gardens and lawns surround the lake-size pool, second pool and a small play area located away from the quiet poolside. On second floor (of 3), entrance foyer has 2 lifts and 2 staircases. Reserved parking space in secure garage. Kitchen and dining area has fan oven,ceramic hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron a ironing board, clothes airer and a good supply of all utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Lounge area has 2 sofas -1 makes a large double bed or 2 singles, Local TV, DVD, CD / Radio. Double, patio doors lead to an over sized balcony with wooden patio furniture. AIR CONDITIONING and heating. Power supply- all electricity throughout the apartment. Car hire is useful but not essential.Pool pass provided- Season April to October.Cleaning and change of towels/ bed linen service is mid-weekly and on weekly 'changeover day'. This is a non-smoking property.No pets.
Arrivals: from 2pm onwards- often earlier by arrangement. Departures by 10am.

Vila Marachique is NEXT TO ALTO GOLF, CLOSE TO PENINA GOLFand within easy drive of the Central Algarve's famous golf courses. Good deals for golf packages are easily found on the Internet.
Alvor is an attractive fishing village in the midst of holiday apartments and large private villas with a wide choice of restaurants, bars, small shops and holiday activities. These focus on 2 areas: the harbour- lagoon area of the Rio Alvor estuary; and the extensive, clean, sandy beach and dunes that eventually lead to typical Algarve coves and rock formations as you move east towards Praia da Rocha and Portimao.
Boat trips, canoe hire and dolphin watching trips are available at the harbour area.
There are public tennis courts and a modern, indoor swimming pool by the harbour and new fisherman's 'huts' - this is still a fishing village with fish market. Aqualand, ZooMarine and similar attractions are within 30 mins drive. Or visit the historic towns of Lagos and Silves.
The local beaches are clean, sandy and protected from over development. They have all modern facilities-sunloungers, parasols for hire and cafes, bars and restaurants. Or walk a short distance and find long stretches away from it all. There are classic Algarve coves with cliffs and rock formations to explore.

Details of Airport transfers and discounted car hire are available on request from owners. Or hire an Airport taxi to Vila Marachique. Or take the train from Faro to Portimao and then a short taxi ride to Vila Marachique.
Alvor is 50 minutes drive on good roads from Faro Airport ( A22 Motorway).

Arrivals are from 2pm but often can be arranged for earlier.
Our local property Manager meets you at the apartment with the keys. Just phone him on arrival at the airport.Departures are by 10am to allow for changeover maid service for the next guests.A breakages deposit of p150 is taken on arrival - this is returne or the cheque destroyed after the apaertment has been checked.There is a 24 hour emergency contact number to assist you.
