Cottage in Cabanas de Tavira Beschreibung

The cottage is a 2 minute drive or 12 minute walk from the seafront at Cabanas. A short boat ride - 2 minutes - takes you to one of the finest beaches in Europe - many kilometers of sand, calm ocean with generally perfect water temperature. Within a few minutes drive are splendid experiences; beaches at Manta Rota and Monte Gordo; Caçela Velha,a charming hamlet with an old castle and a medieval church: Tavira with its Roman bridge, riverfront garden, and richly decorated Algarvian houses: Vila Real de Santo Antonio,built in the 18th century: Ayamonte in Spain across an imposing new bridge.

The cottage is surrounded by fruit trees and flowers. Lemons, Oranges, Limes, Pomegranates, Figs and even Avocados give the area a fragrance. It is certainly a delight to have a drink or a meal on the large veranda, listen to the birds singing and experience the many colours of green.
