An ideal accommodation for groups and families on vacation together….A newly renovated and spacious 9 bedroom villa with two private pools and gardens with sea views situated just 1 km from the river and beaches belonging to the Ria Formosa nature reserve.

There is a large lawn area on the south side of the villa, with a spacious cobbled patio surrounding the pools and parking area. A small front garden with lawn and palm trees sets the property off the quiet roadside. An external patio with decking is located just outside the lounge and dining room. At the end of the garden is an outdoor barbeque area with a sink. There is also a covered pergola with sun loungers, near to a fish pond and fountain.

Of the 11 bedrooms, 9 bedrooms are air conditioned and have en suite bathrooms, small fridge, hair dryer and television. The ground floor has a large lounge and dining area leading from the fully equipped kitchen. Next to the lounge is a games room with pool table/table tennis. There is another lounge on the first floor level with a comfortable seating area and TV with Wii games console. There are 5 bedrooms on the first floor and 4 bedrooms on the second floor and 2 bedrooms on the third floor. There is broadband internet and air conditioning throughout and two televisions with SKY free view channels and DVD player.

There are two pools at Quinta do Pedro, one is a larger 12 x 4.5 m pool with steps leading into a shallow end of 1.3m and a deep end of 2.2m. Beside this is a round children pool with a diameter of 3.6 m and with a depth of 0.5 m throughout. Both are freshwater pools with chlorine cleaning system. The pools are serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.
Plenty of quality sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there are sun umbrellas, tables and chairs available.

It is possible to rent the ground and first floor only, costing less. Additional bedroom can be rented respective to requirement and charged extra. Please enquire.

There is a 500 euro breakage deposit.

Located in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, fantastic white sand beaches are just a stones’ throw away. Not all beaches are accessible without a boat. At the riverside in Arroteia there are fishermen who will ferry people over and when the tide is out it is possible to cross the river by foot. The beaches in this area are like desert islands, havens for wildlife and hardly visited by tourists. There are more easily accessible beaches in Fuzeta and Santa Luzia, which are reached by either ferry, miniature train or on foot.

There is a café some meters down the lane and 2 local restaurants further down the road towards the riverside. Shops are located within 5 minutes drive in Luz de Tavira, Fuzeta, Olhão and Tavira.

There are excellent golf courses within 8km to 10km from the accommodation. The closest is in Colina Verde and a little further are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.

Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.

There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.

Flexible changeover, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged.

We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms and kitchen area.

We can provide cots and high chairs. Please let us know how many are required and if you have any other requirements.

We recommend car hire for this property, especially in the heat of summer…and for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places further afield. Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.

We also offer a very versatile and economic chef service at this accommodation, please enquire for menus and prices, and you can suggest your own choice of food.

We also can recommend bicycle hire as a very suitable form of transport for this location as nearby towns, villages and beaches are accessible by a good network of bicycle and pedestrian paths. Please enquire for our price list for bicycle hire with home delivery and collection.

We require a 30 per cent deposit within one week of reservation. The balance is due up to 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Bookings taken less than one month before arrival are to be paid in full on booking.

We accept payment in euros by either bank transfer or by paypal.

We require a 300 euros breakage deposit refundable one week after departure by bank transfer.

Extra cost of 200 euros for the top floor which sleeps another 4 adults.
