Coupled with beauty and tradition, there are also many new local and modern activities on offer such as water sports on the Douro River, golf in Amarante and a few miles away Caldas de Aregos, with a SPA of sulphur waters (excellent for rheumatisms and other diseases). There is also a marina, river beach, restaurants, museum and shops.
Casa Sais de Cima is set on a slope of the Douro river. The interior is very comfortable, charming, with refined elegance.
