Journey's End is located in the prestigious Monte Lemos area of Praia da Luz, in a crescent of 14 privately owned houses set in beautiful mature, landscaped gardens with colourful planting and lawned areas. The magnificent weir pool is the central feature of these gardens. The living accommodation is on the first floor to take advantage of the views to gardens and the sea beyond. The living room patio doors open onto a south facing balcony with outside dining furniture.

Along with air conditioning the room is furnished with a three piece suite. Satellite TV & DVD player and a log burner which makes this house a ideal base for an out of season stay. There is small cloakroom and a modern dining kitchen with full cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with small appliances, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Another small balcony, which looks inland, leads off the kitchen.

The cosmopolitan town of Lagos, which many believe to be the best on the Algarve, is only 10 minutes drive away. There the Marina dominates the river as it opens into the sea and you can choose activities such as deep sea fishing, a dolphin seafari trip and yacht hire. Lagos is an historic town with some city walls still standing after the earthquake of 1755 and there are several museums and churches worth a visit. This is a working Portuguese town with markets, shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
