Available for short or long lets, 50 mins from Faro airport, easy route, Apartment, is near to Praia da Rocha, Portimao, Lagos, and Monchique,
which is only a 30 min drive,into the mountains. Alvor beach is a short walk/drive, [0.9km] away, having coves with shade, and the widest/longest beach area around,as you can drive upto it and park for FREE! and have a beer at one of the beach bars.This is a real plus as you cannot do this on most of the beaches its normally, park away from beach,pay and walk, or find a bar first.
Alvor itself is a small working fishing village all year around, with its own unique charm having great shops, bars and restaurants but retaining its character, unlike others which are a commercial trap.

The apartment is on a residential complex with a private hospital and dentists nearby [for those emergencies]It has gardens to the front, side, and rear with both sun and shade all day, so suits all, with private car parking.The apartment block has 7 in total, being only ground and 1st floor in height,and is 3mins from the pool facilities, and coffee shop/snack bar
The 5th bed if required is a pull out sofa bed within the lounge area, best suiting a younger person.
The satellite t.v has selected English channels,together with Portugese ones which show alot of english films.
Children welcome. Smoking not permitted in the apartment,[best place kitchen patio area]
There is a safe in the main bedroom, should you wish to use this then a safe lock and key can be rented from the complex main reception for presently 10 euros/week, with a 15 euros key deposit also required which is refundable at the end of the rental.

The Slide and Splash, and Big One water parks for younger family members are within 25mins drive, with Zoomarine 40mins, where you can see the dolphins perform, these trips can also be booked with coach transport from the main reception if required, together with car hire should you decide upon this whilst there.
Nearby golf courses are the Alto Club, Penina, and Palamares course all within 15mins drive.
There are boat and sea fishing trips, which can be booked daily from Portimao or Alvor harbour, and a good local bus service with bus stops outside the complex which serves all the local areas

THE APARTMENT IS ON LEAVING THE AIRPORT AT FARO AN EASY 50 MINUTES DRIVE EITHER VIA THE A22 MOTORWAY, OR THE EN125 WHICH MAY TAKE YOU INSTEAD APPROX 65 MINUTES, YOU REALLY CANNOT GET LOST AS INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIRECTIONS CAN BE GIVEN BY US, AND CAR HIRE DETAILS SHOULD YOU REQUIRE IT, OR OTHER TRANSFER CHOICES, WE ARE HERE TO HELP IF REQUIRED.

THE DRIVING TO ALVOR BEACH AND THE COVES TAKES 3-5 MINUTES, WITH PLENTY OF FREE PARKING, AT THE BEACH AND PLENTY OF BARS/RESTAURANTS RIGHT ON IT.

WALKING WILL TAKE AN EASY 15 MINUTES MAXIMUM EITHER WAY TO THE BEACH WITH THE CALYPSO BAR AS A DEFINITE STOP OFF FOR A CHEAP DRINK AT THE MIDWAY POINT SHOULD YOU DECIDE YOU NEED IT, SO IT COULD TAKE YOU AGES TO GET THERE, BUT ITS WORTH IT AS NUNO AND ANNA ARE EXCELLENT BAR HOSTS SO GIVE IT A TRY!

Winter bookings Oct- March £370-295 [electricity/gas/water is not included in winter bookings] and would be agreed seperately depending on the period within this time {between £15-25/wk in addition]
Refundable security/damage deposit £175, or being 220euros presently. This is held as a cheque amount and returned at the end of the rental in full within 7-10 days, or as a balance if damage costs are regretably incurred.
A 25% of cost deposit secures the booking the balance payable 8 weeks before the holiday, less than this the full balance is payable on booking, via cheque, or if necessary by electronic bank transfer of rental payments.

Apartment rates are Sat - Sat, if booked between these dates whichever is the higher rate will apply, if the rate is the same a £50 supplement will be charged to cover this.
The apartment is cleaned prior to your stay, if additional cleaning is to be required this will be agreed seperately with you.
The apartment has no disabled access.
