The apartment is situated in Oasis Parque Country Club in the Protuguese village of Chas das Donas and is in a quiet location but near to all amenities. It is a brand new apartment which was only completed in 2006. It is situated on the ground floor and is ideal for wheelchair access.

The apartment has been very tastefully furnished to a high standard and includes a living/dining area, 2 double bedrooms with twin beds, one with an en-suite bathroom and another separate bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is a dining kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. The living room/dining area has a dining table and 4 chairs with an additional 2 chairs if required and an excellent sofa bed which allows the apartment to sleep 6 persons. The living area also includes an LCD TV, DVD player, stereo and satellite TV.

There is a south westerly facing fully self contained exclusive garden which is ideal for outside dining and is a safe area for children to play. The patio area has outdoor furniture with parasol, which can seat 6 people and there are also 2 sun loungers. A BBQ is available for guests.

All linen and pool towels are provided on a weekly basis but additional cleaning services are available at an additional cost.

Oasis Parque Country Club houses a large outdoor and indoor pool with jacuzzi, 2 childrens pools, tennis courts and a childrens'play area. There is also an excellent cafe on site serving snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. Guests staying at the apartment have full access to these facilities free of charge.

The apartment also has the benefit of being fully air conditioned (and heated in the winter should this be a requirement).

There is an exclusive parking space outside the apartment. We would recommend renting a car as the development is approximately 5 minutes drive from the beach and nearest town.

Oasis Parque is situated on the western outskirts of Portimao and just a few minutes drive from the gorgeous beaches of Praia da Rocha and Alvor. There are a small number of Portuguese bars/ restaurants and a large supermarket within a 5 minute stroll. Portimao is one of the major towns in the Algarve and can be reached by car or taxi in 5 minutes. The resorts are typically Portuguese and mainly serve the local community with an array of shops, restaurants and a new marina. Alvor is a picturesque fishing village with narrow cobbled streets full of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets.

If you are a golfer, there is a championship level course and 11 other golf courses within 20 minutes drive. This makes our apartment and ideal location to base yourself for a golfing holiday in the Algarve. There are plenty of villages and beaches to explore in the area. If you are feeling slightly more adventurous then Lisbon is only a 2 hour drive.

From the airport take the motorway signposted Lisboa and Portimao and following this all the way to the Alvor exit, approx a 40 minute drive. Follow the signs down to Alvor across the 125 and then you will see a sign indicating to turn left for Portimao, Chas das Donas and Seismaris. Follow this road round for approx. 2-3 Km until you see the sign for Chas das donas and Donaldo. Turn left here and pass the first turning into Oasis Parque until you come to the second entrance which you then turn in to. Follow this road right round passing on your left a blue apartment block. The next blocks are sand coloured and 107 is the 3rd block along.

The prices quoted are for 4 adults. There will be an extra charge for any additional guests and this can be requested from the owners.

A 75euro refundable deposit will be required at the start of the rental.
