This very spacious penthouse apartment is in an excellent location as it is only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Meia Praia and is also close to the Marina and Lagos Town.
From the large balconies and private roof terrace there are magnificent views of the sea and countryside. The balconies which get the sun all day have tables, chairs, sunloungers and parasols and are ideal for eating 'al fresco'
The apartment is larger than usual and is tastefully furnished and very well equipped with everything you need to make your holiday special.
Both bedrooms have twin beds and are fully furnished and there is room in bedroom 2 for additional beds at an extra cost.
Satellite TV is provided in English and German and there are games and books for you to enjoy. Beach mats and parasols are provided for your use on the excellent Meia Praia beach.
For the summer of 2009 the swimming pool and spa facilities of the 5 star hotel across the road will be available for use by our clients at a small extra charge.
A car is not necessary as Lagos town centre is within a 20 flat minute walk or there is a frequent economical local bus that gets you there in 5 minutes. If you do have a car, there is private parking to the rear of the apartment.
There are some very good restaurants within a few minutes walk of the apartment and a wide selection from takeaways to al la carte at the Marina, just along the road. If you wish to self cater the kitchen is so well equipped that you could do a dinner party for 8!
Meia Praia beach is an absolute gem, being 7 km long of white sand edging the clear blue waters of the bay. It is a blue flag beach and is guarded. Children and Dads love making sandcastles whilst Mums relax, soaking up the sun,and reading a good book.You can participate in all manners of watersports from just dipping your toes in the water to windsurfing or even parasailing. Hire of equipment is available on the beach. Boat trips to visit the grottos or dolphin watching can be booked at the Marina.
There are 5 championship golf courses within a 15 minute drive with Palmares one of the oldest on the Algarve being only 1k away.
For bowlers there are 2 greens within a 20 minute drive where you are welcomed to join in the roll ups. Woods and shoes available for hire

Most of the Budget Airlines such as Flybe, Thomson, Ryanair and EasyJet fly into Faro and if you book early you can get some really good deals
Travel to/from the Airport.
Lagos is 80k away from Faro along the A22 motorway. Direction details to the apartment will be sent prior to the letting.
Car Hire:
Most of the wellknown car rental agencies operate from Faro Airport.
However it is worth trying Local Firms such as www.lagorent.com as their overall price is usually more competitive and there is no queuing at the airport. They email you with the details and you just walk out of the terminal building, cross the road into the carpark and car is immediately ready for you. It saves so much time.
TAXIS: Approximate one way price 80-90 Euros
PRIVATE CAR TRANSPORT: We can arrange this at 70 Euros each way per car.

TRAIN: Take taxi to Faro station and pick up direct rail link to Lagos Station which is 1km from apartment. Taxi cost approx. €5 Train €7 each way per person.
Apartment Arrival and departure procedures
Changeover Day:
Lets are usually Saturday to Saturday but we can be flexible during the Low/Off Peak Season and during the Peak Season if current bookings permit.
Arrival time: 2pm onwards
Departure time :Before 10am
We will endeavour to be flexible on these times if all possible.
Our local agent will meet you on arrival, hand over keys and check you in and will be available throughout your stay.
A free welcoming pack of coffee, tea, milk, biscuits etc is provided so even if you get in late there will be some refreshments available.
