Sao Martinho do Porto is a spectacular natural bay in the shape of a shell. Known as “Concha” to the locals, it has a vast sweep
of sand which curls around a landlocked bay to form a natural swimming pool. This shelter makes it one of the warmest places
to swim on the Silver Coast, with the sands gently sloping down into calm, shallow, solar-heated water, making it ideal for families.

This beautiful little fishing town has managed to maintain its marvellous character and much of the older parts still have cobbled
streets. You will also find a daily fruit, vegetable and fish market, and a monthly open air antiques fair. There are numerous bars,coffee bars and excellent restaurants catering for every nationality, you cannot help but fall in love with this wonderful Portuguese town on the Silver Coast.
