Monte das Uvas Cottage was once the cookhouse
of an agricultural estate. It has been modified
and completely restored and is set in an almond,
fig and carob orchard at the end of a private lane.
It is self-contained with its own walls and entrance
gate. It is south-facing and has a sweeping view of
the sea.

Accommodation is comprised of 2 bedrooms, 1 double and
1 twin. Patio doors open onto a covered patio from the
double bedroom.

There is a tiled bathroom with bathtub, shower
and WC plus a separate shower room with WC and
washbasin.

Fully fitted kitchen.

The living room is divided from the dining area
and opens directly onto the main patio.

The large brick patio is a suntrap, facing south,
with lemon trees, surrounding orchards and views
of the sea. It contains 4 sunbeds, a corner plunge
pool, outdoor dining tables and chairs, a barbecue
and a covered patio area for shaded eating.

Prime beaches and prize winning golf courses are
approx. 20 minutes away.

A car is essential. Car hire is available at Faro
airport on arrival.

Prices include bi-weekly maid service, full linens and towels
and some basic food and drink.

Only 20 mins. from Faro airport. 20 mins to beaches, golf
courses and marinas. Ferry boats at Tavira or Olhao
will take you to island beaches.

The nearest city is the lovely medieval market town of
Loule which still has portions remaining of its old town
walls. Saturday morning fish, fruit and vegetable markets
at Loule and Olhao are very colourful and interesting.

In the village of Alfarrobeira, between Loule and Santa
Barbara de Nexe.

Change over day = Flexible.
A 50% deposit is payable with the reservation
and the balance two full weeks before date of
arrival. For late bookings within four weeks of
arrival, the full amount is due with the booking.
Deposits refundable if cancellation received
outside of four weeks of arrival date.
Prices are per week and include maid service on
request, and full linens & towels.
