Cottage Description
Lovely house. The English speaking owner, her family and their friendly dogs live in the main farmhouse and are happy to give advice on visiting the area.
The two adjoining cottages are located just off the main courtyard and each has its own entrance. They are simply furnished in a rustic style and are neat and comfortable.
The kitchens have a 2 ring gas hob but no oven. Rear doors lead from one of the bedrooms to a large terrace and garden area, which backs on to the owner's house and is shared with the family. From here a small path leads down to the pool area some 250m from the property.
There are many beaches within a 30 minute radius, including the sheltered lagoon of Foz do Arelho, which is a good beach for children.
There are also a number of historic medieval towns to explore, including nearby Obidos, which is a particularly enchanting hilltop medieval walled town. Lisbon is only an hour away. This is a very good base from which to experience the many differenct aspects of this lovely part of Portugal.

Please do not arrive before 5 pm, you are also requested to leave by 10am.
