A charming two bedroom hill top cottage with a private pool overlooking the ‘Serra’ of Tavira. Amongst the outdoor spaces is a small putting green beyond a decked terrace surrounding the pool, the water of which is from a nearby natural spring. This is a fantastic retreat into the unspoilt hinterland and offering plenty of outdoor living and enjoyment of the surrounding environment.
Cobbled pathways lead around the property and onto various leveled terraces, with a lovely large covered patio and seating in front of the house with spectacular views. The gardens are lovingly kept and include many fruit trees including apricot, peach, fig, olive, vines and kiwi.
A compact and modern interior with all home comforts. The entrance leads into the kitchen and dining room area with a living room to the side. There is an en suite twin bedroom next to the kitchen. A staircase leads up to a spacious en suite double bedroom with access to another lovely terrace.
The pool is 4 x 3 m with ladder leading into an equal depth of 1.2m. Freshwater pool with Chlorine cleaning system. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. Garden lighting is available.
Four quality sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there are sun umbrellas, many tables and chairs are available, all comfortable.

How quiet is the area around the property?
Blissfully quiet, this area is usually reached only by its inhabitants.
How far are the shops and restaurants?
A five minute drive brings you to a small local shop and the nearest restaurant is 3km down the valley.
How far are the beaches?
The nearest beaches can be reached in 35 minutes drive, namely Fuzeta and Ilha de Tavira.
How far are the golf courses?
There are excellent golf courses within 35 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.
Is the accommodation suitable for children?
Due to the steepness of terraces it may not be suitable for younger children below the age of six years.
What facilities are there for babies and children?
We can provide a cot and high chair if required. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.

Small pets are welcome.
Which is the changeover day and time?
Flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged.
Are linen, bath towels and beach towels provided?
Yes, we provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.
Will there be provisions at the accommodation upon arrival?
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.
Is a car recommended for this property?
Yes, definitely! Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.
Will there be a local representative available on arrival and in the event that we need any assistance?
Guests will be met at the cottage, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.
