This charming rustic dwelling, built from the local stone attracts walkers, hikers, bikers and those who just want to get away from it all and discover a sense of tranquility that you probably never dreamt existed.

Beautiful walks with stunning views along the deserted trails or more challenging hikes to the highest point (1,202 meters) of the mountain; these begin right outside your door! Or perhaps you prefer a faster pace, so get on your mountain bike and seek out the different routes, descents, single-tracks and drops, testing yourself to the limit!

This two storey two bedroom self catering holiday home sleeps 4/5 persons, comprising one twin bedded room, with the option for a further single camp bed, and one double bedroom. Cosy lounge with pine floor and ceiling, house bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
Outside a spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace with breathtaking views down to the valley, the town of Lousã and Miranda do Corvo. On the terrace there is a table and four chairs plus BBQ facilities.

The owner’s accommodation is below the property with separate entrance from the house, allowing you your privacy, but close enough to assist if necessary.
The path down to the house from the track is very steep and therefore not suitable for the elderly or disabled. However pets are most welcome!

Included in your self catering holiday:

All pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen linen is provided plus an iron/ironing board, hair dryer and hair straightners.
You also have free use of our washing machine, in an outhouse just across the patio.
Secure lock-up facility for your mountain bikes.
All bed linen is provided and changed on a weekly basis. Towels are provided and changed twice weekly.
Kitchen cupboards are stocked with all basic food and cleaning essentials and a very generous welcome pack awaits you.

Pre - order online any food/toiletries etc you may like for your holiday (please keep in mind this is Portugal, not Sainsbury’s or Asda!). Just email me with your requirements one week prior to your arrival and, if available in our local supermarkets, your shopping will be here awaiting you. All fresh produce will be refridgerated.

Porto airport, to the north is approximately a two hour drive; join the A1 – IP1 and head south to exit at Condeixa, junction 11.

To the south Lisbon airport is a two and a half hour drive, again joining the AI – IP1 and head north to exit at Condeixa, junction 11.

However all have good rail links. Coimbra b is the nearest rail station
