Further afield the nearby towns of Ponte do Lima and Arcos de Valdevez offer attractive architecture and a refined ambience with good shops and many restaurants to choose from. At Ponte de Lima historians will enjoy the well preserved Roman bridge and museum of sacred art.
This house cleverly reconstructed using stone and glass sit within the tiny hamlet of Sardieiro. On the terrace below there is a private covered swimming pool where one can swim and then relax admiring the view and also a heated SPA.
