A spacious two bedroom apartment with a private patio set in the grounds of Vila Cordelia in Foral, Algarve, Portugal. Vila Cordelia is situated in the rural area of Quinta Larga Vista, once the largest private estate in Portugal
which was owned and used for hunting with the royal lodges by the ancient kings of Portugal.

The urban district of Foral consists of approximately 100 large private villas set in their own grounds interwoven in the local countryside. Foral is surrounded by orange and lemon groves, vineyards and open countryside.

The apartment is open plan with a kitchen with combined dining,lounge area set between two large self contained bedrooms. The kitchen area has a gas cooker with oven, a microwave, a dishwasher,washing machine,deep freeze and refrigerator. there is a dining table with seating for six. The lounge/ diner has sofa, armchairs and a flat screen TV/ DVD. Both double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with bath and shower, plus a walk in shower,wash hand basin, WC and bidet.

The apartment is solar heated giving constant hot water with AC units for heating or air conditioning to keep cool in the heat of the summer. For the low season, there are oiled filled radiators. Changeover day is Saturday but can be flexible. There is solar heating that provides constant hot water. Bed linen and towels are provided.There is a large patio with patio furniture, parasol and private bbq .The bbq area can seat up to 10 people.

More Freedom, More Space (if you are thinking of inviting friends) You can have full exclusive use of the pool everyday which is shared only with owners at certain times. We will provide you with beach towels on request.We have male and female changing rooms by the pool complete with toilets and showers. There is private parking in front of the cottage for those wishing to hire a car during their stay. We do not encourage smoking as many of our trees in the grounds are very many years old and smoking could prove hazardous. However, we may in special cases allow smoking in the patio area outside the cottage ONLY. No pets.

Mid February to end of April are the spring months in Portugal with average temperatures reaching 19°C. You will also find up to 12 hours of sunshine a day meaning you have plenty of time to enjoy the day. The coastal breezes are very enjoyable on a spring sunny and can make you feel more comfortable in the heat. The spring and autumn are warm making the Algarve portugal an ideal place to visit when taking an early holiday break. During the spring you will at times experience spring showers. However on average there are only around 50 days of rainfall a year in the Algarve.
