Cottage in Vila Praia de Ancora Details

Beautifully restored and immaculately furnished, Casa do Lagar offers a lovely setting for a special vacation retreat. Comfortable self-catering accommodation, with 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, linked by a narrow spiral staircase to the living room/kitchen below. This has been very well equipped and very tastefully decorated and furnished by the English owners, who live in their own house across the garden. The lounge has French windows opening on to a west-facing lawn, ideal for long picnic lunches or evenings admiring the sunset with a glass of cold white wine! There's a barbecue and, across the garden, separate fenced lawns with a 10m x 5m swimming pool. Situated at the end of narrow track, the property is surrounded by wooded hills and farmland at the edge of the attractive village of Riba de Âncora, and it's still only 4km to the beaches of the Costa Verde.

Payment Policy

Rates are quoted in Euros. Reservations are confirmed on payment of a deposit of between 30% and 50%, and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment is by Bank Transfer or Paypal.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival, full refunds will be made (less €30 administrative fee) only if the accommodation is re-let. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival. Travel Insurance is advised.

The number of persons must be agreed at time of booking. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice, and without refund, for breach of this condition.
