The Beautiful Quinta Da Luz is an 18th Century refurbished farm house set within 2 hectares of peaceful gardens which the guests can enjoy. The guest house has been recently rebuilt, redesigned and refurnished by the present English owner who is an interior decorator; great care has been taken to preserve the original features of the building. Comfort, light and harmony are the keynotes of this spacious modernised two-floor original building.

On the ground floor, we find the living areas. The living room is spacious, comfortable, full of light, and boasts an attractive fireplace. The separate dining area sits five comfortably. The large kitchen is fully equipped and has an eating area. The private patio has its own barbecue and garden furniture. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, both with two single beds. One bedroom has an en- suite bathroom, and is very large.

The lovely 11 x 5.5 m swimming pool is shared with the owners but rarely used by them. The pool is quite deep, so we require that children are under constant surveillance from their parents. Satellite TV, BBQ, winter heating, and wireless internet access are also provided. The house has the advantage of having daily cleaning of 1 hour on week days included in the price.

Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the Quinta is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 20 minutes.

Prices include cleaning 1 hour a day during weekdays and wireless internet access. Surcharge for winter electric storage heating 12€ per day - Firewood for log fire included. Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, 40% two months before arrival, and balance on arrival.

Security Deposit: €150, refundable at end of stay.
