The lavishly restored cottage with approx 80m2 is configurable with 4 people. From the dining area and fully equipped kitchen you get to the covered patio where they can observe whales and dolphins. The Casa do Bernardo is an idyllic stone house on a hillside with stunning sea views. The property is located in a quiet side street. In the newly decorated modern kitchen you can cook with a gas stove or cook with a local style stone oven heat, and. A dining area is in the kitchen, as well as present on the adjoining large covered terrace.

The living room has a sofa bed with space for 2 more people. The master bedroom in the basement is nicely furnished for 2 people with double bed, bedside table and wardrobe, sitting area with sofa, 2 chairs and table. In addition, the room has a separate entrance with a small sheltered terrace.

The fishing village of Calheta is just 1 km away and is easily accessible on foot. A small natural harbor with beautifully clear water you can go swimming, diving and fishing. Changing rooms with toilet and shower are available and a small cafe. On the outskirts there is a small supermarket. From Calheta is a bus twice a day to the neighboring town of Lajes, there are whale watching tours on offer.

Flights to Horta on Faial and then the ferry from Madalena on Pico (40 minutes) or even direct flight to Pico.
