A spectacular and beautifully designed, modern and unique 2 bedroom
house nestled into an inspiring hillside setting, with incredible
views. Generous and ergonomically designed rooms, which spatially
and poetically capture the essence of the landscape and
extraordinary quality of light.
With all modern conveniences, an infinity pool and terraces for
every occasion, Bellevue is a dream retreat,ideal for people who
enjoy entertaining and making the most of lavishing at home!
Designed with the utmost consideration, each terrace and outdoor
seating area captivates the wealth of the surrounding natural
environment. From wooden decking surrounding the infinity pool,roof
top terraces commanding far reaching views, an inner courtyard, a
natural grotto, an astral seating circle and a panoramic covered
terrace – you can feel in tune with the elements.
The domed entrance patio is several steps from the driveway and
leads through to an architectural delight. To either side of the
hall are double en suite bedrooms. Passing the cool sanctuary of
the inner courtyard, trailed with bougainvillea you arrive into the
living and dining room and fully equipped connecting kitchen.
The living space is comfortable and spacious with plenty of
windows,each framing a picturesque landscape with echoing hues and
contours of serene countryside. The house is finished to a high
standard, with natural materials, lacquered surfaces and local
stone flooring.
Extending from the living room is a wonderful covered and decked
terrace to be enjoyed at all times of day and night!
Sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and the eucalyptus
trees give plenty of natural shading. There are tables and seating
available in the many terraces.
A south facing infinity pool of 7m x 4m with steps leading into a
freshwater pool with Chlorine cleaning system is located below the
living room level. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer
and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and
reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.
This property and terrain is only suitable for children over 12
years of age.

Bellevue is not at all overlooked. There is a neighbouring property
and the owners occasionally use a self contained area within the
premises. The pool and terraces are for the sole use of the occupants
renting Bellevue.
Reached by a short country track off a quiet, climbing road 10 km from
the nearest town, Tavira.
Bellevue is located in a quiet, very rural area far from the
sporadically dotted properties in the surrounding valleys and hills.
There is a local shop 2km away in Picota, which sells basic
necessities. There is also a local restaurant and café 1km away.
Larger supermarkets and fresh fish and vegetable markets can be found
in Tavira, 10km away.
Tavira, referred to in guide books as the ‘Venice of the Algarve’ is
one of the most authentic towns in the Algarve and definitely worth
visiting.
The beautiful centre of Tavira is situated on the banks of the river
Gilão. The town has a seven arched Roman bridge that spans the river
and is the focal point of the town.
The beautiful Ilha de Tavira, Ilha de Cabanas and Praia do Barril in
Sta. Luzia are a 10km drive away.
Tavira beaches make up part of the Nature Reserve of the Ria Formosa,
which comprise six unique barrier islands protecting a system of salt
marshes and tidal mudflats, each fronted by white sand beaches that
spread as far as the eye can see. An unspoilt haven for nature lovers,
walkers and bird watchers.
Few places in Europe have so many Blue Flag beaches in such a
concentrated area, you can enjoy the boat and miniature train river
crossings, many of which are operational throughout the year.
For golfers, there is a lovely new 36 hole golf club called Quinta da
Ria just to the east of Tavira at a place called Fabrica. There is
also the less challenging Benamor course, designed by Henry Cotton
which opened in 2000 on the outskirts of Tavira. Monte Rei is reached
within 30 minutes drive.

Arrival times are flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as
possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 4pm unless
otherwise arranged.
We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a
clean of the bathrooms. Beach towels are provided.
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of
beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late
arrivals. Please ask for any further shopping requirements.
A car is recommended for this property, especially in the heat of
summer…and for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places
further afield. Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be
organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the
local representative.
Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate
the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and
competent service from a team of property managers, who can be
contacted at anytime.
