Apartment Lage
Salir do Porto is a very quiet village, high on the southside of the bay of Sao Martinho. There is a village shop and several restaurants.
The area is great for walkings, maps available or you can go on one of our quided walk; among them walks along the coast, through valleys and in the mountains. (see website www.liefland-rijsdijk.com)
For culture and history this is a rich area. The monastries of Alcobaca and Batalha, the middle ages village of Obidos, Caldas da Rainha, the centre of ceramic arts are all nearby.
