Major attractions, swimming, restaurants and cafeterias are all within walking distance. The area is quiet and attractive with charming landscape and gardens within 5 minutes walking distance of Praia Formosa.

Facilities: The apartment is situated only a short walk from a shopping mall with an assortment of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarket and multi screen cinema. There is an excellent bus service into Funchal where you will find a vast choice of restaurants, bars, theater, musical events, museums, art galleries and so much more.

Praia Formosa which is a bay on the south coast of Madeira island is only a few minutes walk away. The beach is made of large shingle and cobbles and swimming is free to all. If you walk further west along the beach there is black sand in some areas, although much of it is still cobbles. The eastern end of Praia Formosa has a series of semi-artificial rock pools that also offer public swimming.

Within 100-200 meters from the apartment are several bars and fish restaurants with reasonable prices and there are also 2 supermarkets about 10-15 minutes walking distance along the ocean promenade.

Accommodation: The apartment has wonderful sea views from the living and dining room. It is composed of an entrance hall leading to a large living room with 4 armchairs and a sofa that converts into a double bed. There is a TV set with cable TV, a DVD player, CD player with tape player/radio. We have provided several music CD's, DVD’s and books in English.
