Nicely refurbished self-catering apartments in small, split-level block overlooking village of Salema and just 250ms from beach.

Each apartment is tastefully decorated, fully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen and lounge/dining room with TV.

The three bedroom duplex apartment has a bathroom and a separate shower room, while the one/two bed apartments have one bathroom.

Internally apartments vary in decor and facilities as all are privately owned. Each has a balcony or terrace, some with views over the village, others overlooking the bay.

There is a double sofa bed in the lounge in the 2 bedroom apartments only - suitable for up to two young children.

The sandy beach is only a couple of minutes walk away. It shelves gently and is ideal for small children, while adults can enjoy secluded sunbathing and safe bathing. There are lots of other beaches in the area. The western algarve coast is also a short drive away, and this offers spectacular cliff scenary and unspoilt surfing beaches.

To the east, Lagos is the nearest large town. This offers a historic centre, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and lots of great restaurants, bars and shops. At the marina there are boat trips and water sports on offer, plus the not-to-be-missed dolphin safaris.

Local Nightlife
In Salema village there are several restaurants serving regional cuisine and locally caught seafood. In addition there are several bars in the village but that is the extent of the nightlife. For those seeking more lively entertainment it is necessary to travel to Lagos, some 15kms away.

Other Activities
The new marina at Lagos has the usual facilities for boat hire, bareboat charters and deep sea fishing. Other sporting activities such as tennis, squash, bowls etc are available at the nearby resort of Burgau. There is also a Health Spa at Parque da Floresta. Closer to the villa, for the more energetic, are the magnificent coastal walks along cliff-tops passing through unspoilt countryside with magnificent views along the coast.

Golf Information :
Guests at the apartments have the benefit of temporary membership at the Quinta da Boavista golf club near Lagos. Other courses within easy reach of the apartments include, Parque da Floresta, Palmares, famous for its annual Almond Blossom tournament in early February, and the three courses at Penina. Additionally, we can offer pre-bookable tee-times at the majority of Algarve courses. However, we recommend early booking in order to secure the times of your choice.
