The sheltered position of Sao Martinho Do Porto, thanks to it's famous shell shaped
bay, makes it a haven for safe, warm bathing in tranquil waters. Yet also, just outside
the bay there are many fantastic areas for surfing. This property has a superb elevated
position with sweeping bay views - just a few steps away from the beach (50 meters)
in the most sought after area of Sao Martinho Do Porto. You will find most restaurants
and bars in this area with friendly, professional staff who can speak English. The
apartment is spacious with contemporary furnishings. The private balcony on the
upper floor is perfect for entertaining. An additional private patio accessed from the
lounge and kitchen has direct access to the pool (handy for families). Lifeguard is
present in summer months at pool and beach.

For moments where you want to stay in and relax there is English satellite TV (approx
150 channels) and a DVD player with over 20 DVDs to choose from. There is also free wi-fi for your smart phone or laptop.

Sorry no smoking or pets allowed in the apartment.

Cleaning charge is 75 Euros per stay. Apartment is cleaned on your departure and will
be clean for your arrival including all linen. Additional cleaning can be arranged.

The property benefits from garage for one car with door direct to apartment. There are
steps to the beach which may be unsuitable for the very elderly or disabled.

We also own another apartment just like this one on the same level, just one door away

Praia D'El Rey - (famous golf course) 25 mins. Rated as the 13th best course in
Continental Europe by Golf World magazine. This challenging championship course
runs through parkland before opening up along the cliff top to give some breathtaking
sea views.

Getting There

Lisbon Airport is recommended as it is an easy drive along the A8 taking between 50
mins to 1 hour depending on traffic.

If you don't want to hire a car then you can take a taxi from Lisbon airport to Lisbon
bus station (15 Euros) and there is a direct regular coach service from there taking just
over an hour (7 Euros each way).

Alternatively you can fly to Oporto (2.5 hour drive) or Faro (3.5 hour drive).

By train

The excellent website, www.seat61.com, gives a choice of routes from the UK to
Portugal.
For Lisbon, you can take the 10.23am Eurostar from London to Paris and the 15.50
TGV service to Irún on the Spanish border, which connects with the 22.00 overnight
Sud Express to Lisbon, which arrives at 11.03am the following day. Cheapest return
