Outside protected by a wall the house opens to the courtyard. pool and garden.
Main house for 5 pers. and apt for further 4 pers.
Main House: Basement with hall, combined living room with sofa-bed, kitchen, master- bedroom, dressing room (additional baby-cot is provided), bathroom, guest toilet
Upper floor: living/bedroom. For 2 pers Internet and phone flat rate, satellite TV, CD, DVD
Apartment: bedroom. with a double bed, living room with kitchenette, dining area and 2 sofa beds, shower, toilet, shower and your own lawn.
Of course the apt. only serves as an expansion opportunity for your group and will not be rented to strangers

Situated in the woods without any traffic, but it's only 400m to the main street, which connects the nearby beaches of Cascais and Sintra. Through the forest leads a small road with beautiful views you can use for jogging, biking or hiking.
At about 2km is a charming village with small shops, cafes, restaurants around the market square lined by plane trees, but above all there is a clean sandy beach with restaurant, open-air cafe, parking but no noisy amusements. On request we'll arrange lessons in bodyboard surfing by a qualified English speaking teacher.

Nearby are a number of more beaches as well as some wonderful sea-water pools, but unspoiled and spared from mass tourism. There are also tennis courts, riding stables and several international golf courses in about 15 minutes. In total the area is a happy combination of abundant natural and cultural assets, particularly the near World Heritage Sintra. Lisbon can be easily reached by constant trains along a nice coast-line. Special attractions for kids who are welcome everywhere.
