This superb property benefits from the most fantastic views of the
Zezere river. The property is just a few steps away from the riverside
in this astonishingly picturesque part of Portugal. The accommodation
has been equipped to a superb standard and it has been presented to
reflect the traditional, charming nature of the property. The property
consists of two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The large kitchen
and the three bathrooms help make the property a truly practical holiday
home. The private terrace is large and it makes for the perfect
environment to enjoy outdoor living.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region

The Santarem / Dornes area

The beautiful and charming village of Dornes, on the shores of the
Castelo de Bode Dam Lake, has less than 800 inhabitants yet attracts
thousands of visitors every year. The stunning views, five-sided
medieval tower and the 12th century church are some of Dornes main
attractions.

Situated 10 km northeast from Ferreira do Zêzere, Dornes is one of the
most interesting towns in the central region of Portugal. The village
is a maze of narrow, cobbled streets, with whitewashed buildings that
are built on the hillside above Castelo do Bode Lake. There are a
number of cafe bars, hotels and artisan shops in the village.

The views from Dornes are stunning. The hills are covered in pine and
eucalyptus trees which slope down to the Castelo do Bode Lake. The
village is popular due to its easy access for swimmers and sunbathers
wishing to get close to the water's edge.

Dornes is an ideal destination for fishing, sailing, swimming,
canoeing, waterskiing, cycling and walking.
