SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE, our 3-bedroom, 2 and a half-bathroom villa enjoys vistas of Obidos Medieval Castle, a 250-year-old protected vineyard and local fruit orchards. We are conveniently located between the historic walled town of Obidos Castle (one of Portugal's 7 Wonders) and the spa town of Caldas da Rainha, directly alongside the "Rota da Vinha e do Vinho do Oeste" Obidos Wine Route.

NESTLED in a peaceful residential neighborhood, our central location is just minutes from everything you need. Easily accessed from A8, it's the perfect starting point for day trips to numerous historic sights, championship golf, surfing and other sport activities. Many fantastic beaches are just a short drive - Foz do Arelho, Bom Sucesso, Lagoa do Obidos, Praia d’el Rey, Peniche, Baleal, Sao Martinho do Porto, Nazare and more. Experience a stay in "real Portugal" with all the charm, comfort and amenities you would expect on holiday or at home.

INCLUDES - master double bedroom downstairs with full bathroom en-suite. Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms which share a separate full bathroom. One upstairs bedroom overlooks Obidos Castle (3.3km away), the local vineyard & has a sunset view; the other upstairs bedroom overlooks the gardened rotunda & water fountain. All 3 beds include memory-foam toppers for ultimate sleeping comfort! The living room offers a pull-out sofa bed, stone fireplace with olivewood mantle and separate dining area. The upstairs sunroom with its own dining set also has a breakfast bar area. It overlooks the garden rotunda and has a partial view of Obidos Castle and the sunset. It offers a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping. The third bathroom is a half-bath off of the kitchen, complete with a laundry area. The fully equipped kitchen seats 4-10 with refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, espresso maker, all necessary utensils/kitchenware/dishes/pots/pans. The half bathroom by the kitchen includes a clothes washer, dryer, iron/ironing board & vacuum cleaner. The living room and dining area seats 6, with the stone fireplace, 32" LCD flat-screen color TV, DVD, stereo/CD. We include hair dryers in the bathrooms, sun canopies for outdoor dining, picnic table and chairs, lounge chairs, a patio with barbeque grill and private parking. The yard is fully walled, making it safe for children.

We are located in the Lisboa wine-growing region (formerly known as the Estremadura) and are located alongside the Obidos Wine Tour Route of the "Rota do Vinho do Oeste". Quinta Loridos vineyard, near Bombarral (20-minute drive from us) along with its vineyards & many excellent wines, offers a unique cultural attraction. Don't miss the hundreds of Chinese marble and terracotta statues on display on the grounds of the Quinta. The wealthy owner and art collector, José Berardo, shocked by the Afghanistan Taliban's destruction in 2001 of the unique World Heritage monuments, the colossal Bamyan Buddhas, created a 35 hectare (86 acres) oriental garden in honor of them. It is designed as a place of harmony and sharing without any religious tendencies. Admission usually free. In October 2011, €2.50, which went to fight Breast Cancer, and entitled you to a free bottle of wine. Under 18 free.

Upon availability, we offer our guests a Lisbon Airport pick-up option for €65, if a rental car, taxi, bus or train does not meet your needs. Please advise us in advance if you may need this service.

Any late departures without prior arrangements may incur a late check-out fee.

Deposit of 25% of the total due is required within 14 days of booking or it will be released.

Balance is to be paid on arrival by cash euros. Upon receipt of booking deposit, we will confirm booking and send location maps/arrival & stay instructions.

A refundable security deposit of €200 is also required in advance. After a satisfactory check-out inspection, this amount is refundable to you by bank transfer within 10 business days of your departure

All bed linens, blankets and bath towels are provided. Kindly bring beach towels. Upon request, we can provide beach towels for an additional fee. Prices include utilities (natural gas, electric, water) AND final standard cleaning* (*i.e. - property to be left in the same good condition it was received. We will do all laundry and a light straightening up for our next arrival.)

Check-out: by 10am. Check-in: after 4pm (other arrangements possible depending on our other bookings). Late check-outs without prior arrangements may incur a fee.
