A very private three-bedroom house with spacious pergolas and terraced gardens surrounding a large pool located amongst mature almond, carob, olive and orange groves. Overlooking traditional countryside of low hills, orchards and nearby a selection of beautiful beaches.
Conveniently located between the country town of Moncarapacho, the historical town of Tavira and the fishing town of Olhao.
Situated 15 Km from Tavira, 40 Km from Spain, 30 Km from Faro airport and 10 minutes drive from a selection of beaches, beach islands and golf courses.
This traditional single storey villa has comfortable rooms leading on to an open living area with a fireplace in the centre.
A spacious fitted modern kitchen can be accessed by the front, with another entrance leading out to a large and semi-shaded terraces overlooking the pool.
The villa is centrally heated and each bedroom has French windows leading on to individual covered patios and the pool area.
A private, quiet and welcoming environment, perfect for couples or families.
Casa Alexandra sleeps 6 people. There is 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two twin rooms, all with fitted wardrobes.
The main bathroom has a double sink unit and a bath with overhead shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, full crockery service, fridge-freezer and washing machine.
The living room has television and sky free to view channels, DVD player and two settees around an open fireplace, with a separate seating area with armchairs. A baby cot and high chair are also available.
Half an acre of mature gardens, private cobbled driveway and terracotta patios surround the property. A small roof terrace overlooks the grounds and views.
The covered terrace has wrought-iron chairs and table and various benches in or out of the shade looking out on to the surrounding landscape.
There is a large brick-built barbeque to the side of the pool.
The mosaic pool is 6m x12m and 2.0m deep.
The property is approached along a quiet lane and has a gated entrance, car parking is provided by the house. The garden around the house and the pathways are fully lit.
A variety of beaches can be reached within 10 minutes by car, including various deserted lagoons and beaches with facilities. The Islands of Culattra, Armona and Farol can be reached by ferry boat from Olhao, 5km away.
Faro airport is a 20 minute drive.
There is a once-weekly maintenance visit including a linen and house towel change and the pool and gardens are attended to twice weekly in high season. Once weekly out of season.
