An immaculate and spacious 3 bedroom villa with private pool and gardens, well located in the hills near Faro, Olhão and historic Estoi. There is a moveable safety fence around the pool area with lawns and terraces and shaded eating area with barbeque to take advantage of outdoor living. A perfect family holiday home!
Set within 6000 m2 of land, this villa sits high up affording pretty views of the surrounding area and a glimpse of the sea. A beautifully maintained garden with terraces and patios surrounding the villa and also accessed from the two twin ground floor bedrooms. There is also a large terrace on the first floor leading from the master bedroom.
The kitchen area leads onto a very practical shaded terrace with table and chairs by a built in barbeque area and sink.
Generous and light rooms combined with a practical lay-out and beautiful finishings make Casa do Mó a wonderful holiday destination. The villa is accessed by 9 steps leading to the front entrance. The kitchen is ample and fully equipped and has dining space, with another outdoor dining table in the shaded patio. The kitchen also leads through to the lounge with double French doors overlooking the pool. The living room has a dining table and sofas, another door leads to a sweeping marble staircase and two twin bedrooms, one of which is en suite, there is also a cloakroom and utility room on the ground floor. An external door goes from the utility room to the pool terrace and there is also an extra bathroom with shower.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a beautiful domed terracotta ceiling and a large terrace and a Juliet balcony. There is an en suite bathroom and plenty of storage space throughout.
A lovely 8.5 x 4.5m pool with steps leading into a shallow end of 105cm and a deep end of 185cm. Freshwater pool with Chlorine cleaning system. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available. A moveable pool fence and gate makes the garden area perfectly safe for children.
Six quality sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there are sun umbrellas, some tables and chairs available.

There are local shops 1 km away in Pechão and restaurants in the near vicinity.

The closest beaches are at Fuzeta and the Islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol, reached by boat from Olhão 4km away.

There are excellent golf courses within 20 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest are in the Vilamoura and Vale de Lobo areas, west of Faro.
What facilities are there for babies and children?
There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.
Is the accommodation suitable for elderly?
There are two suitable bedrooms on the ground floor with bathrooms, however, the villa is reached by 9 steps leading to the front door.
How close are the nearest neighbours? Is the property overlooked?
The cleaner and key holder of the villa lives 50 metres away, apart from this there are no close neighbouring houses and the property is not at all overlooked.

The property is accessed by a tarmac road from the village of Pechão and a gravel drive up to the villa.

Which is the changeover day and time?
Changeover days are Saturdays only. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 4pm unless otherwise arranged.
Are linen, bath towels and beach towels provided?
Yes, we provide a once weekly linen and twice weekly bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms. Beach towels are not provided.
Will there be provisions at the accommodation upon arrival?
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.
Is a car recommended for this property?
Yes, especially in the heat of summer…and for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places further afield. Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.
Will there be a local representative available on arrival and in the event that we need any assistance?
Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.
