Villa Gaia sits on a PRIVATE, SECLUDED and ELEVATED site, in the quiet back streets of Quarteira and just a few minutes walk from Quarteira SANDY beach.

The villa has been renovated with holidays in mind and is IDEAL for family and friends who want to relax and have quality time together. It also makes a GREAT place for those who want to enjoy some sunny days at the beach or by the pool and is ideally located for the traveller wanting to explore round.

There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. Bedrooms are kept cool in summer months with CEILING FANS, TILED FLOORS and SHUTTERED WINDOWS. All bedrooms feature good-sized wardrobes with plenty of room for your entire luggage. And if you fancy a dive first thing in the morning you’ll be pleased to know that all 3 bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto the pool area.

Also with patio doors looking out the garden and the pool is the LARGE lounge/dining area with table and chairs for 8. The lounge is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and fireplace for cosy off-season evenings.

The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering in style including: hob/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, mixer, toaster, and dishwasher and tea/coffee facilities. Just opposite the kitchen there is a convenient utility room with washing machine and iron/ironing board.

Outside, Villa Gaia has its own driveway and parking for at least 4 cars. At the rear the mosaic tiled swimming pool (8x4m) is surrounded by a LOVELY patio + garden and a SHADED BBQ area with benches and table for those evenings in. There is also a roof terrace from where you can enjoy a BEAUTIFUL view through Quarteira to the sea beyond. The plot is walled/fenced all around which provides enough PRIVACY.

A car is a necessity if you wish to fully explore and appreciate all aspects of the BEAUTIFUL Algarve coast and the many leisure pursuits and restaurants available. Ideally book in advance through your airline car-hire facility, collecting and returning at Faro Airport. If you prefer to travel round in taxis these are easily obtained and should be booked in advance.

Personal travel insurance is compulsory.

Please note that Villa Gaia is suitable for over 5's / under 1's only since the swimming pool is unfenced.

Originally a small fishing village, QUARTEIRA has grown into a holiday resort combining the pleasures of a beach holiday with great town life.

The town centre has all the facilities you may need from supermarkets to all other sorts of shops. The nearest supermarket is only 3-5mins walk away.

Then there is the Quarteira PEDESTRIANISED PROMENADE with small shops, restaurants and bars facing an inviting stretch of SOFT, SANDY beaches. To us even better than the Vilamoura Beaches!!

The lively FISH MARKET and the picturesque GYPSY MARKET on Wednesdays attract many locals and tourists all year round. These are perfect places to get to know the Portuguese beat of life.

Also one of the main waterparks in the Algarve, called Aquashow, is located in the outskirts of Quarteira.

For Golf lovers: Villa Gaia is situated WITHIN 10KMs of 12 top quality golf courses, including those at Vilamoura, Vila Sol, Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago.
Vilamoura's worldwide famous marina is only 3Km away from Villa Gaia, and Albufeira and its busy night life, Guia and Faro Airport are 21 km away.

Hire Car: Recommended

On arrival at Faro airport you can either hire a car or get a taxi to the Villa.

If hiring a car (ideally book in advance through your airline car-hire facility): a DETAILED itinerary from the airport to Villa Gaia will be e-mailed to you a few days before your holiday.

If taking a taxi: just pick one up from OUTSIDE the airport terminal. Please ask if you wish to have an idea of how much you will be paying for the taxi service.

Once you arrive at Villa Gaia, we will offer further advice, help and assistance to all our guests including a welcome visit to introduce you to the house and surrounding area.

CHECK-OUT TIME can be arranged to suit the time of your return flight.

Prices shown above are for the property per week based on 1-to-3-person occupancy. Please add 10% to price shown for 4-6 people occupancy. Max: 6 people.

Set prices are in Euros. Please ask for a quote in GBP.
Payments accepted into either a Portuguese bank account (in Euros) or UK-based account (in GBP).

RESERVATIONS: A non-refundable deposit of 25% secures a booking. The remaining balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date.

A refundable BREAKAGES DEPOSIT of 350€/£300 payable on cash upon arrival is required.

Sheets and towels are provided for use in the villa. A change of linen is supplied at the end of each week.
The villa is cleaned PRIOR to your stay. Mid-stay maid service is not included but can be arranged at an extra cost.

Long winter lets available from 950EUROS/month (based on 2 people occupancy; electricity/gas/water not included).

The minimum reservation period is 7 days.

Change Over Day: Flexible

Book a 2+ week stay and benefit from a 5% discount in the total rental cost.

RETURNING GUESTS are offered the same 5% discount no matter the length of their stay.
