Quinta da Padrela is the perfect choice for those who enjoy outdoor living and the pleasure of alfresco meals.
A wine tasting visit to the cellars can be arranged with the owner. Some of her wines have been awarded prizes in international competitions and are exported to several countries.
If you would like to be present at the grape picking then you should come in September; there will be a mixture of smells in the air and the movement of it all is a pleasure to the eye (please contact the owner who will inform you of the dates).
For local attractions, why not a visit to Regua and a boat trip down the majestic river Douro? Or a visit to the historical town of Lamego is not to be missed.
The interior is classical and comfortable. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan living/dining room with an open fireplace, together with a well equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Outside there is a very pleasant porch with a built-in barbecue, bread oven and a large dining table, thus providing an ideal spot for meals during the long Summer days
ACCOMMODATION:
Ground Floor-3 bedrooms, two double, one of them with en-suite bathroom (bath shower over basin, bidet, wc). The other with 4 bunk beds; bathroom (bath, shower over, basin, bidet, wc).
Private swimming pool (10 x 3m; 1.00– 2.50m deep), available since May until the end of October. Covered porch, private garden. Parking. Built-in- Barbecue.
