Complete privacy, surrounded by a lawn garden, vineyards, a forest of pines, oaks and chestnut trees with its delightful private pool. This property is located in the most peaceful and tranquil setting for your holidays inviting you to a wonderful time of leisure in contact with nature.
This farmer’s old house was build in 1688 and is now totally rebuild with all modern needs and comfort in an area of nearly 260m2.
The inside is cosy and comfortably furnished and there is a beautiful outside area with a table for dinning al fresco.
Surrounded by beauty and tradition, there are many local attractions, and modern activities on offer such as water sports on Douro river (7km away), such as the lively local town of Marco de Canavezes (10km) with its Roman ruins (www.cm-marco-canaveses.pt); further a-field the interesting town of Amarante, (27km) a must with it’s excellent shops, good restaurants, a museum and beautiful golf course (www.amarantegolfclube.com).
Further still one should not miss the opportunity to visit the historical Porto city with its beautiful riverside quarters, renowned Port-wine cellars or a boat trip on the Douro river.

Ground Floor
Comfortable dining room with fire place and glass doors opening onto the outside area and pool,the charming kitchen is modern and very well decorated and equipped, It has a door to the garden.
There are 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom: 2 with twin beds with en-suite bathroom (shower over bath and toilet); one with double bed , and ensuite bathroom room (shower cubicle, bath, basin, bidet, toilet); cloakroom (toilet).
First floor
Some stairs to the first floor, leaves you to the spacious relaxing and comfortable living room with fire place, and glass doors opening to the covered balcony ( during the Summer furnished with comfortable sofas) with beautiful views over the poll area.
