The swimming pool is set on a higher level and has a shaded area with barbecue. The nearby village of Pinhao has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants - also a weekly market. The owners can organise river trips or jeep rides for guests, and there are trains which run from Porto to the Spanish border.
