A very private three-bedroomed house with extensive gardens leading to a pool area. Located amongst mature almond, carob, olive and orange groves. Overlooking traditional countryside of low hills, orchards and very private. Conveniently located near to the small seaside village of Cabanas and the historical town of Tavira. Situated 4.5Km from Tavira, 30Km from Spain, 40Km from Faro airport 5 minutes and 10 minutes respectively from 3 superb golf courses and 10 minutes drive from a selection of beaches, and beach islands. This two-storey villa has comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms with a cosy dining area and fireplace, which leads on to a livingroom area and a large kitchen leading out to the terrace and lawns. The living room area has French windows leading out on to a large terrace with pergola and garden. The villa is supplied with air conditioning and heating. There are mosquito nets on doors leadin out to the garden. A private, quiet and welcoming environment that is perfect for couples or families. Casa Almargem sleeps 6 people. On the ground floor there is one double and one twin bedroom, together with a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The comfortable open-plan lounge has a large double sofa, a chaisse longe and Television with SKY free to view channel and DVD player. Pay as you go (1 euro per hour) Internet access on request. There is access to a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin beneath the stairs. The dining room has a large wooden table with seating for 6 and some mexican dressers, with lovely views onto the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fruit press, fridge-freezer and washing machine. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. This bedroom also has a small balcony with sea views and views over to the pool area and from the upper landing access onto a small roof terrace. Half an acre of mature gardens with palm trees, fig, almond, carob, lemon, plum and orange trees, private cobbled driveway and patios surround the property. There is a basket ball net and paved area for playing basketball. There is a large brick-built barbeque by the pergola and terraced area, leading out to a lawned area and beyond to the pool area. A pathway leads to the secluded pool which is 8m x 4m and 2.0m deep. There is a separate indoor area with kitchen facilities and bathroom at one end of the pool. The property is approached along a quiet lane and has a gated entrance and is fully fenced, car parking is provided by the house. The garden around the house and the pathways are lit. A variety of beaches can be reached within 5 minutes by car, including various deserted lagoons and beaches with facilities. The Islands of Cabanas and Tavira can be reached by ferryboat. Manta Rota beach has access by car and is reached in only 10 minutes.There are two superb golf courses one within 5 minutes drive from the house. Faro airport is a 35-minute drive. There is a once-weekly maintenance visit including a linen and bathroom towel change, cleaning of bathrooms and the pool and gardens are attended to twice weekly during season. The nearest shop is 1000m at the edge of the village of Conceição on the way to Cabanas A selection of supermarkets are located in Cabanas and Tavira or further a field. There is a great restaurant wihtin 20 minutes walk away. Just metres away is the green walkway 'ECOVIA' which runs parallel with the coast across the length of the Algarve, perfect for walking and cycling in the nature, through the salt pans and coastal landscapes and connecting to coastal towns. Well-suited for nature lovers, bird watchers, golfers, cyclists, walkers and families.
