Torre de Gondivau is 17th century stone-built house with a private fenced swimming pool and large garden.
Renovated and furnished in a rustic style, there are three double bedrooms, a large kitchen; dinning room and living room.
In the garden you will find a beautiful fenced swimming pool with shady nooks, tables and benches in stone, and barbecue. All this makes it ideal for meals alfresco.
The diversity of the landscape in this area produces a great range of regional wine and gastronomic specialities and local restaurants serve excellent meals at very low prices.
There is much to see in this region, Braga has a 12th century cathedral and many Baroque mansions and churches. Guimarães – 2012 European Capital of Culture has a medieval quarter and an impressive castle. Barcelos hosts a huge weekly market and is Portugal’s leading ceramics and craft centre.
ACCOMMODATION:
First floor: sitting room and dinning room, both with beautiful old fireplace. The spacious kitchen, with its huge fire place is also on the first floor, as well as two bedrooms and the bathroom(bath/shower over, basin bidet; WC)
The third Bedroom has an ensuite shower room(shower, basin, bidet, WC)and is reached by a steep open staircase.
Private fenced swimming pool(10x5m; 1–2,10m deep)available April until October. Terrace, courtyard and garden. Parking. Mobile barbecue.
