This century-old restored house is located at the end of the village in a dead-end street. From the private garden and every room of the house there is an unobstructed view of countryside and sea. In the summer the sun sets magnificently into the Ocean right in front of the house and garden with its BBQ area. There is no traffic or village noise to disturb the peace.
The fully equipped kitchen and the living/dining area have patio doors leading out to the garden. The master bedroom offers a more panoramic view of sea and village from the veranda. There is central heating throughout the house as well as a fireplace in the living room.

sports
The nearest beach is just a short walk away. The next beach over is a long expanse of sandy beach and is a 10 minute drive. On request we arrange lessons in bodyboard surfing by a qualified English speaking teacher. Besides surfing and windsurfing facilities there is also horseback riding and tennis. excellent 18 hole courses at Beloura, Penha Longa and Estoril.
It is an area of castles, palaces, quaint old towns, high cliffs, sandy beaches and beautiful, hilly countryside.

Sightseeing
First of course Lisbon easily achievable by constantly going trains along a pretty coast-line. But also of tranquil places such as the indispensable World-Heritage Sintra, Mafra with the gigantic Royal Palace, the seaside resort Ericeira, as a day trip, Évora , Sesimbra, Fatima and Obidos. Especially in the summer resorts compete with festivals. Children are welcome guests everywhere and there are several museums for toys and technology. Nightlife, shopping, bars, casino can be found in fashionable Cascais/Estoril.

Distances
Lisbon is about 30 km.
Sintra with its many places of historical interest (it is a World Heritage Site) is a 15 minute drive.
Cascais, which is more of a resort town, and has beaches and a marina, is a 25 minute drive.
There are many small town and Roman sites in the area.
