This lovely house has been totally upgraded to provide a perfect place for a family holiday in the unspoilt area of Leca, close to the beach where swimming and surfing are a must. The beach is white sand, clean and supervised and is only 500 metres away. Leca is full of restaurants selling the catch of the day with all budgets catered for - from the cheap and cheerful to fine dining options. Cafes and bars aboud by the beach. The world famous architect Alvaro Vieras' Infinity Pool is right there at the beach as is his fantastic Boa Nova Tea House. The Solar Events Centre 3 minutes away offers a private pool and cafe and gym for €7 per day and is a haven of peace and quiet. If you want to horse ride, use the local riding school for a daily fee or if you have children up to the age of 8 you can drop them at the Traquinhas activity centre 2 minutes away for a whole afternoon where they can jump around for a fee of €5 under total and profesional supervision.
This thriving fishing village is now part of Porto and home to families, professionals and the remains of the older generation who you will see strolling in the mornings taking their catch home. A fantastic mixture of cultures. Nearby are all amenities, including shops, a chemist, butcher, bread and cake shop and a bank. The house is fully equipped with all white goods, and has a beautiful little garden and patio area perfect or evening drinks sitting by the pear trees and bushes. Parking is 20 metres away in the square, the airport is only 15 minutes by cab and it's placed perfectly for a trip north into beautiful Minho or to Spain one hour away. This is unspoilt Portugal, green, friendly and active. The city of Oporto is easily accessed by a walk over the bridge to take the metro or by bus downtown and taxis are still very cheap.Take trip up the famous Douro River into the heart of the Port wine region or visit the great Serralves Modern Art Galley or take a tour of a whole number of fantastic churches and monuments.
For Golf enthusiasts the ESTELA Golf Course is well worth a visit and is no more than 20 minutes drive away..

The Estela course is built on a three kilometre long stretch of sand dunes on the beautiful Minho coast line. This is one of the Portuguese golf links that secured a high reputation for itself when it was selected to host two events in the European Professionals' Circuit.
