Casa da Oliveira with its walled and gated garden and privately situated heated pool (with optional child safety fence) is the perfect place to just unwind in peace, to use as a base for a family or golfing holiday or from which to explore the numerous attractions of the Algarve.
Recent extensions and refurbishments along with our great attention to detail make Casa da Oliveira a wonderful villa for a holiday!

LOCATION:
Casa da Oliveira is in a village near the town of Almancil 12kms from Faro airport and well away from the flight path. In its sheltered and peaceful setting at the end of a short lane from the village there is no passing traffic yet it is not isolated and is within very easy reach of the Algarve's many attractions and activities.

ACCOMMODATION:
Large hall, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, cloakroom, lounge and dining room, kitchen and laundry room.
Master bedroom: optional super king-sized or twin beds, dressing room, ensuite and private balcony.
Bedroom 2: downstairs with super king-sized bed and ensuite with bath and shower cabinet.
Bedroom 3: large twin beds
Bedroom 4: pair of bunk beds + a single bed.
Bathrooms: the ensuites are both off internal lobbies to increase flexability of use. Bathroom 3 has both bath and shower. Downstairs cloakroom with guests safe.
Lounge and dining room: Satellite TV, DVD/Video player, music centre along with library of DVDs, music, books and numerous indoor games. There is a lovely log fire (logs supplied) and a sofa bed for extra guests. French windows lead to the terraces, garden and pool.
Kitchen: granite worktops and breakfast bar, cooker, hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher (and much more!) and laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier.
There is airconditioning or heating throughout (free of charge), a safe for guests valuables and grills or shutters on all the windows.
Without charge are a cot with bedding, high chair and pushchair.
Maid service is 2 x per week (more by request).
A starter pack of groceries, hot and cold beverages, beer and wine awaits guests arrival.

OUTSIDE:
Through the lockable gates are a cobbled driveway and a garage available to guests.
The large walled garden has lawns to play on (plenty games provided), shrubs and flowers to look at, built in BBQ to cook from, open and covered terraces to dine on, 12m heated pool to swim in, loungers for sun worship and a hammock to swing in the shade - cocktail in hand of course!

NEARBY:
Almancil has everything - supermarkets, butchers, 2 bakeries with bread and pastries to die for, petrol station, banks, designer boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants of all types a prices.
Activities within a few mins drive include 2 waterparks, horseriding, tennis, sea watersports and 12 golf courses!
Loule (15 mins), the provincial capital, has fine old churches and buildings and a famous Saturday market.
Faro boasts an old walled city centre with cathedral, museum, galleries and open square with cafes and restaurants. Many cultural events take place here.
West in the Algarve lie the beautiful Monchique mountains and the spa of 'Caldas de Monchique', Silves with its majestic castle, Sagres, Cape Vincent and the Western Atlantic coast.
East of Faro is ancient unspoilt Tavira (30kms)with its facinating old bridge, buildings, castle and churches. A little further East is Spain where the massively impressive Guadiana river forms the frontier. Seville is then within reach (2 hours).
The 'Ria Formosa' stretches all along the coast from very nearby to Tavira, some 40kms in all. It is one of Europes most protected nature reserves which makes this stretch of coast a very special place to visit and enjoy.

Saturday is preferred changeover day, other days possible especially out of high season.
Prices are in GBP and can be made by cheque, bank transfer or by arrangement through PAYPAL. If preferred, payment can be made in Euros, by bank transfer only.
Initial deposit of 25% required to confirm booking. Balance plus a refundable security deposit of £250.00 required 6 weeks before holiday commences. Payment in full is required for bookings made within 8 weeks of start date.
For pool heating add £125.00 per week for the extra cost of electricity.
The pool fence has a one-off charge of £25.00 to cover labour to erect and dismantle.
Payment may be made in euros or $s by direct transfer to bank a/cs.
