An immaculate and comfortable four bedroom villa with private pool and
garden, situated in the fragrant rolling hills, above the picturesque
town of Tavira. A perfect location for a family holiday in a natural
and tranquil environment.
The villa is surrounded by terracotta patios perfect for sitting or
lounging, wherever the sun shines! There is a large brick-built
barbeque near the pool terrace. The house has 360 degree views across
the maquis countryside, dotted with fig, almond and cistus bushes. You
will find orange, pomegranate, peach, pear and cherry trees within the
4500m2 of garden.
The villa is light and airy, every room and bedroom has a sliding
glass patio door. From the front door you enter into a large hallway
with coat storage and a small shower room with w/c. Double doors open
into a pretty rectangular lounge, with sofa seating for 8. The lounge
has three sliding glass patio doors, a gas burning fireplace and TV
with free to view English satellite channels. A twin bedroom with
fitted wardrobes and patio doors opens off the lounge. The open-plan
kitchen and dining room has seating for 8 also lead out onto a
terrace. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard and has all modern
appliances, there is a separate utility room adjacent to the kitchen,
that also has a tumble dryer. On the first floor there are two large
double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with fitted wardrobes, the
largest bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is
another bathroom with a shower/bath and all the bedrooms have patio
doors that lead out onto very large roof terraces, perfect for
enjoying the far-reaching views over countryside and nearby reservoir.

The pool measures 10m x 5m with steps leading into a shallow end of 1m
and a deep end of 2.5m, it is a freshwater pool with salt cleaning
system. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once
weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable
professional.Eight sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and
there are sun umbrellas, a table and chairs available. Pool and garden
lighting is available.

The villa is perfect for family holidays and children of all ages.
What facilities are there for babies and children?
There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have
any other requirements.
There is a twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and one step
onto the pool area, making the villa suitable for elderly visitors.
Casa Bougainvillea is not overlooked and the nearest houses are
approximately 500 metres away.
The property is accessed via a 50m unmade lane, directly off a tarmac
road. The house has private off road parking.
The area around the house is very quiet and rural, the nearby village
of Casa Queimada comprises houses and farms, a very relaxing
environment.
There is a café/bar in nearby Corte Martins 2km away, Faz Fato at 4km
has a small restaurant. Larger supermarkets can be found in Cabanas
9km away and Tavira 12km.
The beautiful blue flag beaches of Manta Rota and Cabanas Island are 8
and 10 km distance from the accommodation.
There are excellent golf courses within 8 to 10 minutes drive from the
accommodation. The closest are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da
Cima, Monte Rei.

A car is required for this villa, especially in the heat of summer…and
for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places further afield.
Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local
reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.
The property is accessed via a 50m unmade lane, directly off a tarmac

Arrival and departures are flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as
close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless
otherwise arranged.
We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a
clean of the bathrooms.
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of
beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late
arrivals.
Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate
the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and
competent service from a team of property managers, who can be
contacted at anytime.
