It Is located in a rural area and close to the historical town’s of Guimarães (Guimaraes 2012 EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE)(6km) and Braga (30km) and only 10km from the Caldas das Taipas Thermal Spa (dating back to Roman times). Only 30 minutes by car takes you the beautiful historical town of Vila do Conde with several beaches situated between the river and the sea and to the lively resort town of Povoa do Varzim with beaches, golf courses and casino for those who like a flutter. Not far away the beautiful beaches of Esposende and Ofir.
Only 50km Oporto town, here you can explore the twisting and narrow streets of the Ribeira, famous for its life and character or visit numerous monuments, or why not visit one of the many port wine lodges on the bank of Douro river and further afield the interesting and beautiful town of Viana do Castelo, a must for excellent shops and restaurants.
