Casa Luzia is a luxurious four bedroom open-plan villa in Tavira, one of the most attractive and unspoiled towns in the Algarve. Situated in a quiet area, this stunning property offers very comfortable and tasteful furnishings, and benefits from air conditioning throughout the house, as well as wood-burning fire for the cooler months. Three of the four bedrooms are en-suite while the fourth has an adjacent bathroom. There is one double bedroom and three twin bedrooms - the cot and high chair are provided free of charge. The living room has three sofas and Sky TV, while the dining table seats eight guests. Sliding doors lead out onto the cool, covered terrace with stunning views of the Ria Formosa Reserve where you can dine al fresco or enjoy a refreshing drink. Cool down in the salted-water swimming pool or relax on the sun-loungers surrounded by lovely flowerbeds and fruit trees. This area has ample sun beds and umbrellas and a bar-bq for outdoor cooking. Alternatively, there are two more terraces upstairs with tables and chairs. The villa benefits from private parking. A welcome pack containing refreshments and food basics is provided to help you settle in and there are CD's, DVD's, books and games for your enjoyment. The property is fully cleaned weekly with linen and towels changed. Also, the pool and garden are tended weekly.

A supermarket and restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The villa is 3 minutes drive from the beautiful centre of Tavira which offers a choice of riverside bars and wonderful restaurants. A car is recommended but not essential as taxis are cheap and there is a bus service.

Just a short drive from the villa you can enjoy some of the best beaches on the Algarve which are rarely crowded even in the height of summer. Tavira's main beach is the Ilha de Tavira, where the 11km of sand provide an idyllic spot to sunbathe and relax. The wide, safe and clean sandy beach is one of Tavira's key features, with restaurants and beach bars. The extensive sandy beach at Manta Rota is also highly recommended. In Summer, there are water-sports and the sea is warm and clear.

Benamor Golf and Quinta da Ria / Quinta de Cima courses are literally a couple of minutes away. Other courses within a very short drive from the Villa include Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale, as well as the exclusive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nichlaus. It takes 20 minutes to reach courses in Spain or 30 minutes drive to courses in the Vilamoura / Quinta do Lago area.

We can organise reduced green fees for guests. So, you can plan your golf in advance of your visit to Casa Luzia.

It is now possible to save time and hassle by pre-booking and collecting hired clubs at Faro airport.

There is a nearby golf shop for any accessories that you might need. They also provide club hire.

The Spanish border is 20 minutes away, while Seville is 90 minutes drive or a little longer by the twice daily express bus. An excellent commuter train service connects all the coastal towns of the Algarve with a frequency of 1 train per hour during the day and connects Tavira with the twice daily Faro-Lisbon express.
