Villa in Maia Description
This spacious property is a mere 1 Km from the airport and only 400 m from tramway station (so no need for a car), and the bustling city of Porto lies only 12 Km away. Here you can explore the twisting and narrow streets of the Ribeira district, famous for its life and character or visit numerous monuments, or why not visit one of the many port wine lodges on the bank of Douro river.
To the north are the beautiful towns of Vila do Conde and Viana do Castelo, and the lively resort town of Povoa do Varzim with beaches, golf courses and casino for those who like a flutter. The house stands in the grounds of the owner’s residence and, although they live next door, the pool is for the sole use of guests.
Also you will no doubt enjoy picking the estate grown vegetables and turn them into a delicious meal. However, some 200 meters away there is a simple restaurant, and it will take orders and deliver a meal to your door.
At the front of the house is a stone-covered porch with table and chairs together with an outside shower room, laundry, built-in barbecue, children’s playground and swimming pool, as well as an outside large sitting/dining room with views of the garden.
The kitchen/breakfast room gives access to a hallway. Wooden stairs lead to the first floor with four bedrooms, which has central heating and/or air conditioning for extra comfort.
The inside is simply but comfortably decorated.
