"CASA DO PINHAL" is located in "COLARES" way out, in a very quiet Natural Park area in Quinta do Banzão at COLARES / SINTRA, 2 km from the beaches "Praia Grande" and "Praia das Maçãs" , 7 km from Sintra, 15 km from Cascais and 30 km from the historic Lisbon centre.

There is a tram and a bus that connects Sintra with the beaches "Praia das Maçãs" and "Praia Grande", with a stop 50 meters from the house.

You can find a golf course driving range at 3,000 m from home.
Between 8 to 15 km we have 5 excellent golf courses: Penha Longa(Sintra), Quinta da Beloura Golf(Sintra), Belas Club de Campo(Belas), Estoril Golf(Estoril), Quinta da Marinha(Cascais).

Situated in a temperate Atlantic climate (with small changes in temperature), is a dream house for touring outdoor enthusiasts, with easy access to some of the most stunning beaches in the Portuguese Coast.

You can enjoy at the same time, beach, mountain and cultural holidays.

There are many fabulous walks nearby, both in the Sintra hilltop mountain and along the coastal clifftops.

Pena Sintra Palace on the top of Sintra mountain was the Portuguese Kings summer residence.

A lot of other palaces (Sintra village Palace, Regaleira Palace, Monserrate Palace,...), old churches, the 9th century Moorish Castle and the Modern Art Museum are some recommended sites to visit.

Cabo da Roca(a cape near the sea) at 10 km from home, is the most western European Continent local.

Lisbon town is one of the wonderful European towns, located between two wonderful rivers (Tejo and Sado), with 9 centuries reach history.

The famous "Fado music" and the "Portuguese horse bullfights and toreros", are Portuguese parties that you can not lose.

Cascais town (15 km from home), is a old seaside village, plenty of wonderful beaches (Guincho,...), marinas, restaurants and shops.

Many superb seafood and other restaurants nearby.

Beaches, surfing, tennis, golf, riding, walking, mountain biking and many sights are all very nearby... and lots of great restaurants.

Nigtclubs and many bars nearby.

But is also great just to relax in the pine nut garden.

A Mini-market( Pomarinho da Várzea), some good restaurants ("Central","Ribeirinha de Colares", "Estalagem de Colares",...), several banks are nearby, so you can buy all the food you need, by walking, without having a car.

The old Colares village, is famous for its wine, and the viniculture cellars and facilities can be visited, 100 m away from home, in "Adega Regional de Colares".

The most locals you meet, are likely to speak English.

The owner shall provide all information about the main places to visit in Sinta and Lisbon area.

The owner has more houses for rent in Colares/Sintra and also apartments (up to 12 PAX) in the historic Lisbon.

IC19 in Sintra Direction.

At the end of IC19, turn to the right in "PRAIAS" and "SINTRA"
direction.

The house is 100 meters far from "ADEGA REGIONAL DE COLARES".

Payment terms are: 50% in deposit or bank transfer to make the reservation and the remaining 50% upon arrival in cash against the keys delivery.

Normally check-in and check-out are done on Saturdays. But
there is flexibility.

Bed linen and towels supply are already included in prices.

we have more homes to rent.
