In a peaceful yet central location the entire property is masked by trees, shielding it from the outside world. The whole property is fenced and approached by a long winding private drive with electric security gates.

The modernised Villa can comfortably accommodate 10 adults and has an open plan area with a choice of terraces and seating. Here you have wireless internet, a satellite flat screen TV, DVD player, surround sound, and for the winter months a large wood burner, there is a separate area for reading and glass doors opening out onto the terrace and gardens where you can enjoy a drink on the terrace by the pool or a meal cooked on a large brick BBQ. There are three other reception rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The five double bedrooms each have a double bed.

The main feature of this property is the fantastic landscaped garden which has many local mature trees and flowers, including magnificent cork-oaks. Portuguese stone calcada pathways meander through this private and beautiful setting, here you can find a variety of seating areas and secluded terraces.
Contemporary garden furniture surrounds the large swimming pool and the purpose brick-built open grill barbecue, which is a traditional utensil in Portuguese cuisine, is ideal for those afternoon drinks and barbecues.

The local village of Porches is approx 3 minutes drive and offers excellent restaurants, a post office, supermarket, coffee shops, a small corner shop, butchers and local crafts. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and the local riding school is within a 5 minute walk. Approx 5 minutes away is the larger beach resort of Amerca do Pera which is a local tourist resort and offers a large sandy beach, many excellent cafes and restaurants.
Lagoa is a small town with supermarkets, markets, bars. and a Barclays bank There are also two large water parks in this area offering great fun for all the family. Carvoeiro and Portimao are both within driving distance and offer shopping, eating and sightseeing.

Within a 5 minute drive and offering 36 holes Amendoeira Golf Resort is home to two stunning championship golf courses, both designed by legendary names in golf - Nick Faldo and Christy O’Connor Jnr. Each course is of contrasting design and will offer a challenge to both professional and amateur golfers. The unique design of Gramacho. With 18 holes and 27 greens, plus numerous different tee points, players are able to enjoy the same course time and time again but always with slightly different challenges. Vilamoura golf has become world famous, and if you like golf, you will be pleased to know that there are several championship golf courses. All these courses are within a short drive from the property.

There are many local beaches offering fantastic scenery and bathing; three are about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the villa.
During the summer months you can take fascinating boat trips to many of the local caves in the area.
