At the heart of Alentejo and only one hour from Lisbon, Moinho do Álamo is an old mill, converted for Rural Tourism, with a total area of 12 hectares. This water mill, beautifully restored, enjoys a peaceful location in the valley of the River Almansor. It has a large outdoor swimming pool, several terraces overlooking the river, rustic gardens, a tropical island and a river beach.

The main house, an area totaling 1200 square meters, has been rebuilt from the ruins of a water mill of the 19th Century, has many original features including a living room all built in stone, above the river channel. The large patio overlooking the Almansor is ideal for an alfresco dining, enjoying the enviable fresh air. The building was decorated with a classic Portuguese style with many antiques and paintings. It is very well equipped, including satellite TV, air conditioning in the Master Suite and ventilation in the other rooms. The heating on the ground and first floor with large fireplaces, bring a magical warmth comfort on long cold winter nights.

There are numerous outdoor activities that you can play in the Moinho do Álamol, from boating pond for rowing, fishing, horseback riding, cycling, hiking or even get acquainted with the farm animals.
