João and 200 meters from the village of the same name, 5 Km from the sea and 12 Km from Lagos , the house has five individual accommodations and a biological swimming pool, set in 2,5 hectares of ground (7,50 acres). Centrally heated , the house can function all year round. The ideal location for those who wish to enjoy the sun and beaches of the Algarve and at the same time relax, surrounded by lush vegetation. The calm of the forest and the countryside but two steps from the village and a few minutes from the sea. The perfect compliment to a beach holiday. An excellent spot for those who essentially seek the restfulness of the hills but also enjoy the beach. Also and option for resting and relaxing during Autumn and Winter in a cozy atmosphere. The house is centrally heated and each accommodation has a wood burning stove for those who enjoy the magic of a real fire. There is internet access in all accommodations. Built with ecological consideration using only natural non-toxic materials – stone, lime and wood. A good base for eco-tourism : for observing nature, walking, cycling or horse diving, situated in a National Forest with a Nature Reserve a few Km away and a Zoo nearby. The vast striking coastline with pedestrian pathways lies within easy reach. A good location to unit a group of friends or family, either for professional reasons or simply for relaxation. If you are feeling stressed-out the are two Spas 15 minutes away. Massages , reflexology, reiki , yoga and tai-chi are available locally. For sports enthusiasts there are excellent facilities in the area: 3 magnificient golf courses within 15 mins. Drive riding stables for trekking and lessons, tennis clubs with courts for general use and coaching available. The west cost offers surfing, body-boarding, diving and sub- aquatic fishing.
