Beautifully restored villa with authentic pieces and materials, set in a 4 hectares private property to which guests have exclusive use. Casa dos Arcos is located in the Parque Nacional da Serra da Arrabida, 5 Km away from beautiful beaches and close to Vila Nogueira de Azeitao- a small historic town surrounded by the national park and well known for its vineyards and wine cellars open to the public.

The house is entered via an original outside staircase leading to the spacious entrance hall which leads to the communal rooms. On this floor the large well proportioned sitting room overlooks a large patio area with a stunning green views of the gardens and the Arrabida mountains beyond. The covered patio is ideal for outdoor meals or just reading a book undisturbed. Further along we find the separate formal dining room, again with direct outside access. The brand new modern kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped, also with access to another covered patio area; from the kitchen a pantry area is also found. On this floor there is also a guest toilet room. Satellite wide screen TV with international channels, internet access, and stereo system enhance your enjoyment.

On the upper floor, there are 4 spacious bedrooms, two with double beds and two with twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other two share a bathroom. On this floor, there is an additional storage room with window, that can double up as a smaller sixth bedroom if needed (6m2). On the garden floor, the fifth bedroom is located, self-contained with its en-suite bathroom; this bedroom has direct access to its private terrace and the garden; it is only made available for parties of more than 8 people or by special request. All the 5 main bedrooms are very spacious and have generous storage space. They are all extremely quiet and have pretty leafy views over the gardens.

Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the villa is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 45 minutes. Faro airport is 2 hours away. The motorway junction is 6km away.

All rates are in Euros.

Prices quoted are for up to 8 people, add €100/week per additional person - max 12 people in total - Baby cot on request. During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks. Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, 40% two months before arrival and balance at arrival. Security Deposit: €500, refundable at end of stay. Prices include maid service twice a week, bedding, towels and utilities.
