In the garden a swimming pool and another to children. There is also a private opening park to the cars. The place is quiet, only the birds singing can awake you. Casa de Fontes is an ancient manor house built to take advantage of a magnificient landscape overlooking the Vouga Valley in Aveiro coutry. It has remained in the same family for several generations and recently the ancient area of the house has been renewed to receive tourists. It is a rural tourism, classifyed Turismo de Habitação . All the 10 double rooms (2 non smoking, 6 with large bed and 4 twin beds) have private bath room and a balcony facing the gardens and swimming-pools. Sitting rooms with fire place, a small library, a room for card games, a snooker and a ping-pong table are available for tourists, as well as a private open parking.

Additional information : The relaxed environment invites you to step into the garden and spend the day by the pool (children have a smaller one) in summer or, in winter, to appreciate a good book by the fire place. In one day you may visit Aveiro and it's Ria, Coimbra and it's ancient University or Porto and it's caves of Porto Wine.
