Monte Portela Nova is a property with about 15 hectares,situated in the south-west of Portugal, not far from Odemira and Vila Nova de Milfontes, in a quiet rural area of Alentejo. This area of rural tourism is composed of 2 traditional Alentejo houses, in which are 4 double rooms and a common living-room where also breakfast is served. There is a small dam and a swimming pool good for fishing and swimming. The agricultural part has 4 hectares of grapes, 4 hectares of olive trees among other fruit trees.

Monte Portela Nova is situated in concelho de Ourique, on the E.N. 263( km 18,6) the road from Beja to Odemira. The nearby village Colos has a bank,a petrol-station, a market and restaurants. In the villages of Amoreiras and Funcheira one can find the railroad Lisboa-Faro and the A2 is about 30 km. Faro airport is 130 km away and Lisbon at 180 km. The beautiful and quiet Costa Vicentina, with the beaches of Almograve, Malhao, Cavaleiro e Milfontes is only half an hour away. In opposite direction at 10 min. you find the large dam of Monte da Rocha and at 30 min. the dam of Santa Clara a Velha.

We organize several motorcycle offroad rides with guides, diverse tracks and dificulty levels. Acessible to all kind of participants.We're on a tipicaly rural landscape where the guests can use our dam and all the area for walks and rides. We have bicicles for rent and we also organize offroad trips for groups. In addition we organize safaris with jeeps with several programs for all family, more information upon request. In harvest season guests are welcome to join the activities for harvesting grapes and olives.Rooms have two beds with private bathroom with the possibility of an extra bed. Commun room has TV, games and bar.Meals can be served upon request .
