You are a 10-15 minute drive from many fine golf courses, including Salgados, Pestana Vale da Pinta, Gramacho, Milho and Silves. Senhora da Rocha beach, 800 meters away, has a restaurant, snack-bar and shower facilities. It is overlooked by an historic church, from which there are magnificent views. There are many more beaches and hidden coves within a ten minute radius. Take a boat tour and see a shipwreck. Armação de Pêra is a picturesque fishing village with cobbled streets, old church, good restaurants and night-life. Take a walk over the beach and come in at the marshes: a bird-watcher’s paradise. There are wooden walkways over this beautiful protected landscape. It is worth taking a trip to the following places: Lagos, Silves, Monchique Mountain Spa, Cape of St Vincent (most southerly spot in Europe), Fatima, Lisbon.
